Overview
Objective
Propose a device that is capable of cooling materials such as drugs, but can be sustainably operated in third world conditions
Process
Created a CAD model of a cooling device through parametric design so the dimensions and compartments of the device can change depending on the user
Result
The final proposal utilized a combination of the heat transfer mechanism from sterling engines and the design for the cooling device
The final proposal won 2nd place in the Texas Student Research Showdown 2022
